Bill Belichick is adding another familiar face to his staff at the University of North Carolina. Former New England Patriots linebacker Jamie Collins, a long-time Belichick player, announced in a recent interview that he is joining the Tar Heels’ coaching team as a defensive assistant. Collins, who played for the Patriots in multiple stints from 2013 to 2022, will primarily work with the linebackers, the position he played during his career. Though he played at Southern Mississippi, Collins is excited to team up with Belichick once again, bringing his experience and knowledge to the defensive squad at UNC.
