Injuries and bye weeks are taking over the league. With injuries, players are ready to step into bigger roles. Let’s dive into our NFL Week 6 anytime touchdown scorer best bets, while you can also find out our experts’ NFL picks for EVERY game.
Jaguars vs Bears anytime touchdown scorer pick: Tank Bigsby (+190)
Line available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.
London treated us well last week, with Garett Wilson finding the endzone and cashing in at +195. For Week 6, we’re backing Jaguars back Tank Bigsby, who has outplayed starter Travis Etienne Jr. thus far. On the year, Bigsby is averaging eight yards per carry on his 34 attempts. He found the endzone twice last week in the second half after Etienne left with an injury.
Bigsby ranks 1st in the NFL in yards per carry after contact. He’s too explosive for the Jaguars not to have on the field – especially in the redzone, where he averages 4.8 yards per carry.
Browns vs Eagles anytime touchdown scorer pick: Jalen Hurts (+115)
Line available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing
The Eagles return three of their superstars on Sunday in A.J. Brown, Devonta Smith, and Lane Johnson, after missing Week 4’s loss in Tampa Bay, where they got embarrassed. After two weeks of preparation, the Eagles offense is ready to explode against the woeful Cleveland Browns at home. We’re targeting Jalen Hurts to find the endzone for the third time this season.
Hurts hasn’t had to do much of the heavy lifting in the redzone with Saquon Barkley in the backfield. But Hurts has still rushed the ball 12 times to Barkley’s 18 inside the 20. That’s good enough for me at +115 on BetMGM.
Colts vs Titans anytime touchdown scorer pick: Calvin Ridley (+215)
Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
It hasn’t been sunshine and rainbows for Calvin Ridley in his first season with the Tennesse Titans. He’s reeled in just nine catches on 19 targets. But the 371 air yards that rank just outside the top 25 that intrigues me.
Will Levis will be back under center after the Titans bye week, and I’m banking on the two connecting for a long ball that reaches the endzone. The Colts, the Titans opponent on Sunday, have been susceptible to allowing touchdowns once drives reach the endzone. They’re allowing a touchdown on 64% of drives that reach the 20. Not to mention that they’ve allowed five touchdowns to the wide receiver position.
