San Francisco Will Limit Strikeouts
The San Francisco Giants will limit strikeouts against Landon Knack and the Dodgers, if nothing else.
Knack has only stuck out 17.6% of batters this season and has allowed 28.4% of fly balls with a 55.4% hard contact rate.
So far, he’s pitched unscathed through 102 batters. But it’s unlikely that will last if he continues to put up these stats.
The Dodgers Can Still Score
It won’t be easy against Logan Webb and the Giants, but the Dodgers will still perform well and earn some runs.
After all, the Dodgers have hit a .205 ISO and wOBA of .346 against righties in the last month. They’ll scratch and claw against Webb despite his ISO of .126 and wOBA of .292 over the previous month.
The Dodgers have also worked 9.1% of walks and could get Webb out of the game after the fifth or sixth inning. Once the bullpen gets in, they could pounce with this lineup.
