The Sanderson Farms Championship is a relatively new tournament on the PGA Tour schedule and began at the Country Club of Jackson in Mississippi in the fall of 2014.
The track is one of the easier tests on the PGA Tour with winning scores of circa 20-under-par through the flattish parkland of Jackson. With barely any problems tee-to-green over the 7460-yard par 72, the event becomes something of a putting contest on the bermuda grass greens.

Swedish journeyman professional, Henrik Norlander, is a King Prop bet every year at the Jackson Country Club.
The thirty-seven-year-old has built the most amazing plethora of form at the track during the last four years with three top 4 finishes and a very creditable 24th.
It has been a struggle for Norlander to keep his playing privileges on the PGA Tour but there have been no problems dealing with this week’s test, regardless of his form during the preceding weeks. This year, he arrives in good form with an 8th place finish on the DP World Tour at one of their premier events, the Omega Masters, up in the picturesque Swiss Alps.

Is this Adam Svensson’s time of year?
Could it be this time of year on the PGA Tour that will see Adam Svensson at his best? Svensson’s only tournament win on the PGA tour was two years ago during the fall when winning the RSM Classic.
The Procore Championship saw the Canadian play solidly for 13th after finishing the 2023/2024 season strong four weeks earlier at the Wyndham Championship, where he placed 7th.
Last year, finishing 16th was the thirty-year-old’s best effort at the Sanderson Farms Championship. He was 13th in strokes gained putting, which was eye-catching and unusually excellent for Svensson. Historically, the weakest part of his game is his work with the flatstick on the greens.
There will be no hiding place this week on the Bermuda greens in Mississippi and Svensson will need to putt well. If he does, then we have a realistic chance of landing the winner because Adam Svensson has historically been a strong closer of tournaments throughout his career. Will it Hale in Mississippi?
Believe it or not, there are reasons to take some props bets on Blaine Hale this week in Jackson.
Blaine Hale was very eye-catching by leading the approach-the-green strokes gained stats in the Procore Championship.
It has been a tough debut year for Hale in the big league of the PGA Tour but there have been encouraging signs in recent months. His 37th-place finish at the Procore was the twenty-seven-year-old Dallas golfer’s best effort so far.
It is hard to make an argument for Hale winning this week’s Sanderson Farms or going close. However, we suggest keeping stakes small for Blaine Hale in the props markets of Top 20 and Top 40 props at attractive prices.
