Toronto Blue Jays vs. Boston Red Sox

Wednesday, June 26, 2024 – 07:10 PM ET at Fenway Park

Toronto Doesn’t Scare Anyone

The Toronto Blue Jays have hit a .119 ISO and wOBA of .308 against righties over the last 30 days with their projected lineup.

While the Blue Jays typically limit strikeouts, they’ve shown no consistent power over the last month against righties. Only Spencer Horwitz and Vladimir Guerrero have above-average ISO numbers against righties.

They’ll take on Kutter Crawford of the Red Sox, who has held teams to a .297 wOBA throughout the year. He’s given up some power, but that likely won’t happen against the Blue Jays.

More Potential For Boston

Against Crawford, the Blue Jays will counter with Yariel Rodriguez. He’s allowed a .174 ISO and wOBA of .391 against his first 81 batters faced this season. Rodriguez has also walked 13.6% of batters and has a low strikeout rate of 21%.

He’ll take on a Red Sox lineup that has five batters hitting an ISO of at least .179 against righties over the last 30 days.

The Pick

I’d trust the Red Sox way more in tonight’s game, especially at home. Take them on the moneyline.
