Denver Broncos’ outside linebackers coach, Michael Wilhoite, was arrested Sunday night at Denver International Airport on suspicion of second-degree assault on a police officer. The Broncos acknowledged the incident, stating they are gathering more information. Wilhoite, 38, a former NFL linebacker, transitioned into coaching after a six-season playing career. He joined the Broncos’ staff in 2023, contributing to the defense’s improvement to third in points allowed per game in 2024. Wilhoite is scheduled for a court appearance Monday morning.
