Best bet for NFL Week 15: Houston Texans -2 over Miami Dolphins (-110)

The Jaguars were an easy best bet winner for me in my Week 14 opening lines article and I’m going right back to the well in the AFC South – this time with the Texans. Houston should be in a good spot for this upcoming weekend’s date with Miami. Head coach Demeco Ryans’ squad is coming off a bye and has the benefit of playing at home, while the Dolphins needed overtime to get past the Jets on Sunday and now have to go on the road.

Even with Tua Tagovailoa healthy, it’s hard to have much faith in the Fins. They are 6-7 overall, including 2-4 on the road. Their road setbacks have come by 3, 6, 13 and 21 points. Miami has not played particularly of late, either, as a blowout loss at Green Bay in Week 13 was followed by a less than impressive nail-biter against the Jets. Since November 11 the Dolphins have not defeated anyone other than the Raiders and Patriots. There is no reason to think they will take down the Texans.
