It’s been an incredible season using the MLB computer predictions. With the regular season schedule coming to a close this weekend, let’s attack this 15-game slate and make more profit before the postseason, finding the best odds at the top sportsbooks.

Our AI Model likes the Diamondbacks to earn a 5.7-3.4 win over the Giants tonight at home. With Arizona fighting for an NL Wild Card spot, it totally makes sense.

San Francisco Giants vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Tuesday, September 24, 2024 – 09:40 PM ET at Chase Field

Arizona’s Offense Has Been Much Better

Forget last night. The Arizona Diamondbacks have been much more consistent offensively.

The projected lineup has hit a .245 ISO and wOBA of .364 against righties over the last month.

They’ll take on Logan Webb, one of San Francisco’s aces, tonight. But he’s allowed a .167 ISO and wOBA of .359 thanks to a high hard contact rate and low swinging strikes.

Can San Francisco Even Make Contact Tonight?

The Giants’ projected lineup has hit a .174 ISO and a wOBA of .294 with 27.1% of strikeouts against righties. It’s just not good enough, especially with Brandon Pfaadt on the mound.

Pfaadt has earned 29.5% of strikeouts over the last 30 days and has limited walks to 7.1%. He’s also got an above-average whiff percentage and has induced more than 47% of ground balls against righties.

MLB Computer Pick

I like the Diamondbacks at -140. So does the model.
