Best bet for NFL Week 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers -7 over Denver Broncos (-110)

Is the NFC South actually good this season? Carolina is obviously the worst team in the league and the jury is still out on Atlanta, but Tampa Bay and New Orleans are looking like the real deal.

The Bucs opened with a 37-20 blowout of Washington and then went into Detroit to pull off a 20-16 upset. Baker Mayfield has thrown for 474 yards with 5 touchdowns and 1 interception while also scoring once on the ground. Next up for Tampa Bay is a Denver team that is 0-2 and has produced just 1 touchdown through 2 games. It managed only 6 points against Pittsburgh in Week 2. Expecting the Broncos to stay within a touchdown on the road seems like a borderline absurd idea.

Although I would probably play this a couple of points higher, it would be wise to jump on it now while it’s still on the key number of 7. After all, let’s be honest, it’s probably going to move in Tampa Bay’s direction.
