Currently, we can get the Panthers’ leading shot taker to see 4+ shots in this game at +130 NHL betting odds, which to be honest is about 25 cents more than we were expecting, so we would happily bet this down to as low as +105.
Although it’s the finals and things might be tight on the ice, we cannot stray our eyes off these odds having considered everything.
Thus far during the playoffs, he has seen 4+ shots in 10 of his 17 games, which might not seem like a lot but in terms of odds, these calculate to no more than -125. Having finished the season as the second top goalscorer, Sam Reinhart has failed to find the back of the net for two games now, which isn’t long in the NHL world even for a top scorer, but he will be hoping to find the back of the net sooner or later, and a pick-up in form heading into the finals would be nice considering Reinhart has only scored in 7 of his 17 playoff games.
The Panthers’ forward did help them in the conference finals with three goals across the series, but we really are backing him to get back into form having only scored in 4 of his previous 13 games having started the playoffs with 3 goals in his first 4 games.
Reinhart certainly has the ability to cash this bet for us, let’s hope he does so at +135 odds.
