The Denver Nuggets and LA Clippers meet Thursday in NBA action at the crypto.com Arena. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Nuggets vs Clippers prediction.
Denver Nuggets
The Denver Nuggets have been in great form as they’ve won 11 of their last 14 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after sneaking past the Spurs in a 110-105 win on Tuesday. Nikola Jokic led the team with 42 points, 16 rebounds and six assists, Aaron Gordon added 23 points with seven rebounds and four assists on nine of 12 shooting while Michael Porter Jr. chipped in with 15 points, 16 rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Nuggets shot 43 percent from the field and 11 of 34 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get going and found themselves in a real arm wrestle with the pesky Spurs, until they opened the fourth quarter on a decisive 13-3 run to start to pull away. The Nuggets will take on the Hawks after this one.
Los Angeles Clippers
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last eight games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after having their three-game win streak halted by the Kings in a 109-95 road loss on Tuesday. Russell Westbrook led the team with 20 points off the bench, Paul George added 18 points while Norman Powell chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Clippers shot just 40 percent from the field and 11 of 27 from the 3-point line as they did their best to hang with the Kings in the first half, but then the Clippers got outscored by 35-19 in the third quarter to fall behind by as many as 26 points at one stage.

Nuggets vs Clippers prediction
The Nuggets are still shorthanded with Zeke Nnaji out and Jamal Murray listed as questionable, while the Clippers are still missing Jordan Miller and Kawhi Leonard. The Nuggets come into this one as the slight favorites and with good reason, as they are clearly the more reliable and consistent team, even with Murray under an injury cloud. The Clippers are more than capable of pulling off the minor upset at home. However, the Clippers didn’t look great against the Kings in their last outing, and I think they’re in trouble if they got off to another slow start. The Nuggets are one of the hottest teams in the league and I think they get the win and cover at the short line.
