The Utah Jazz and Sacramento Kings meet Sunday in NBA action at the Golden 1 Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Jazz vs Kings prediction.

Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 11 of their last 12 games overall and they will be hoping to arrest an eight-game slide after falling painfully short to the Rockets in a 101-100 loss on Friday. John Collins led the team with 30 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks on 10 of 14 shooting, Collin Sexton added 29 points with six rebounds and five assists while Kris Dunn chipped in with 11 points off the bench. As a team, the Jazz shot 46 percent from the field and eight of 31 from the 3-point line as they held the Rockets to just 13 points in the first quarter to take an early 13-point lead, but they couldn’t hold off the Rockets in the fourth quarter and ended up losing by the smallest margin.

Sacramento Kings

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in pretty good shape as they’ve won six of their last 10 games overall, but they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting beaten by the Mavericks in a 107-103 loss on Friday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 23 points, six rebounds and five assists, Harrison Barnes added 20 points while Domantas Sabonis tallied a triple-double of 13 points with 12 rebounds and 10 assists. As a team, the Kings shot 43 percent from the field and 15 of 32 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 34 points in the first quarter to take an early 15-point lead which kept them in front until the Mavericks took over midway through the fourth quarter. The game was still up for grabs in the final minute of the game, before the Mavericks’ Dante Exum drained a clutch 3-pointer with just 28.1 seconds left on the clock. The Kings will take on the Clippers after this one.

Jazz vs Kings prediction

The Jazz are still shorthanded with Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen both out, while the Kings are keeping eyes on Sasha Vezenkov and Trey Lyles both listed as questionable. The Jazz have quietly been one of the worst teams in the league lately. The Jazz are coming into this one fresh off one of their more painful losses this season, while the Kings were on a nice run before they dropped two games in a row. The line is probably too high for this one, but there is definitely more optimism surrounding this Kings team over this Jazz team, who just can’t beat anyone without their best players on the court.
