Heat vs Wizards Player Prop Bets – Jimmy Butler Prop Picks 2-2-24

SPORTS CHAT PLACE

We have the Southeast Division clash in the NBA on Friday, February 2, and here you can take a look at the Heat vs Wizards Player Prop Bets. The Miami Heat finally snapped a seven-game losing skid and now they look for back-to-back wins when they visit the country’s capital, while the Washington Wizards are desperate to avoid the tenth straight defeat at home.

Heat vs Wizards Player Prop Bets – Jimmy Butler Over 22.5 Points (-110)

Jimmy Butler experienced a tough period of three games during which he failed to score more than 17 points. He even failed to attempt more than 11 shots in those three outings. However, Jimmy Buckets returned to his usual in the next three games and scored 28, 26, and 31 points, respectively. In that span, Butler made 24 free throws.

Butler is Miami’s top scorer with 21.4 ppg this year. Although the Heat have one of the slowest and least efficient offenses in the NBA, they face the worst D in the league which allows 124.0 ppg. Also, Washington allows a league-high 24.4 ppg to the opposing small forwards, so Jimmy shouldn’t have problems scoring 23+ points here.

Even if Butler fails to take 15+ shots, I am sure he will draw a lot of fouls and visit the foul line frequently. Butler averages 7.0 points per game from the free throws this season, and that would surely help.

Tyler Herro Over 19.5 Points (-110)

Tyler Herro has not performed as expected recently, which is one of the reasons for Miami’s seven consecutive defeats. He managed to score 20+ points in just one of the previous eight games, and that is not good enough for the shooting guard who averages 21.2 ppg this year.

I am backing Herro to score 20+ tonight because he faces the weakest defense in the NBA. Washington allows 22.8 ppg to the opposing shooting guards and 3.2 threes per game. I expect Herro to drop 3+ shots from downtown and finally eclipse a 20-point mark.

Herro met the Wizards once this season and scored 24 points (four three-pointers made), while in 11 career games against them, he averaged 20.5 ppg.

These were the Heat vs Wizards Player Prop Bets, and hopefully, both will be winners. The bettors who like NBA prop bets can read the Clippers vs Pistons Player Prop Bets for Friday, February 2.
