SPORTS CHAT PLACE

The Milwaukee Bucks and the Portland Trail Blazers collide at the Moda Center on Wednesday night. Here’s a Bucks vs Trail Blazers Prediction.

Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in great form as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games overall, but they will be looking to bounce back in this one after falling just short to the Nuggets in a 113-107 road defeat on Monday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 29 points, 12 rebounds and four assists, Brook Lopez added 19 points while Damian Lillard chipped in with 18 points and five assists. As a team, the Bucks shot just 42 percent from the field and 16 of 39 from the 3-point line as they squandered an early 13-point lead, and they just couldn’t reclaim the lead after scoring just 19 points in the third quarter.

Portland Trail Blazers

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers have been in decent shape as they’ve split their last eight games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the 76ers in a 130-104 win on Monday. Jerami Grant led the team with 27 points, Malcolm Brogdon added 24 points and nine assists, Scoot Henderson added 22 points off the bench while Deandre Ayton chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 54 percent from the field and 12 of 28 from the 3-point line as they took control with a 38-point explosion in the second quarter and they just never took their foot off the gas to come away with one of their biggest wins of the season. The Blazers will face the Nuggets and Pistons after this one.

Bucks vs Trail Blazers Prediction

The Trail Blazers are still missing Moses Brown and Shaedon Sharpe while the Bucks don’t have a single player listed on the injury report. The Bucks haven’t been firing on all cylinders, but they were on a nice run before they got stopped in their tracks bt the Nuggets in a tough loss on Monday, while the Trail Blazers are coming into this meeting with plenty of confidence after routing the 76ers in their last outing. These two squads last met on Nov 27 and it was the Bucks who rallied back from a 26-point deficit to win by 108-102. A lot has changed since then, so while the Trail Blazers have been in decent form recently, I’m going with the Bucks to take care of business early and escape with a more comfortable win this time round.
